(Beta) Validate the connectivity and version of an event broker service deployed to a Customer-Controlled Container

Check the event broker you deployed to a Customer-Controlled Container before you configure it: the Mission Control Agent connects to the address you submit on the secured management (SEMP) port of the event broker service's connection endpoint and confirms that the event broker responds and runs the expected event broker version.

Submit the same address you will submit to configure the event broker service.

The response is an operation you poll at GET /eventBrokerServices/{serviceId}/operations/{operationId}. The operation succeeds when the event broker is reachable and runs the expected version; otherwise it fails, and its error explains why.

The check changes nothing: neither the event broker nor the event broker service, including its creation state. You can run it at any time, as often as you need.

Restricted to tokens with create or update access to the event broker service; read access alone is not enough. Your token must have one of the permissions listed in the Token Permissions and manage rights on this event broker service.

Token Permissions: [ mission_control:access or services:put or services:post ]
